Jack Daniel’s Whiskey Coffee Adds More Buzz to Your Morning

Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey recently partnered with World of Coffee to make a unique morning brew like you have never experienced. It is made with 100% pure Arabica beans and infused with the 150-year-old distillery’s signature booze, though the coffee itself is alcohol-free. A few years back a similar product was released in which the flavors of Old No. 7 was added to coffee grounds but this version contains real whiskey. This new coffee blend is available in both regular and decaffeinated varieties. World of Coffee president and owner Charlie Newman stated in a press release that he is excited to add one of the country’s most iconic liquors to the company’s high-quality coffee.

Currently Jack Daniel’s Whiskey Coffee is only available at jackdaniels.com and at the Lynchburg Hardware and General Store in Lynchburg, Tennessee. It is available in 8.8 oz tins for $21.95 and 1.5 ounce gift bags for $6.95. You can also get the smaller bags as part of a gift set with a Jack Daniel’s campfire mug for $16.45.

Staff at the Huffington Post recently received samples of the new Jack Daniel’s Whiskey Coffee to try and review. Though the tasters had mixed reviews, they generally agreed that the coffee, even drunk black, had a nice taste that was not as bitter as most black coffees. Though the coffee definitely tasted different than plain coffee and smelled a bit like whiskey, most of the testers said they could not really taste the Jack Daniel’s flavor. In fact, they raved about the coffee’s sweet aroma, saying it was “pleasant” and “super sugary and yummy.”
